Cheap printer with cheap cartridges?im paying too much for ink?

Unfortunately that%26#039;s how printing companies catch you these days, making their printer prices unusually cheap and reeling it in with the cartridges.

Your best bet is to buy a cheap printer and one of the following options:

1. Visit http://www.refreshcartridges.co.uk/

2. Buy a refill kit and fill them yourself (be very careful of mixing colours)

3. See if you can grab some on eBay.

If you have an inkjet printer this shouldn%26#039;t be a problem, however if you have a laserjet printer already (these aren%26#039;t too cheap, but offer better print quality) then you must buy a toner cartridge, and unfortunately these also come at a price and cannot be refilled.

Hope this helps.|||CALL KPD CONSUMABLES- GREAT SERVICE- VERY COMPETATIVE- WORK ON 30 DAYS INVOICE TERMS AND THEY PROVIDE NEXT DAY DELIVERY CALL 01723 866052 Report Abuse

The printer is cheap. I buy the universal refilling kits from Argos and refill the cartridges myself. So it costs like a pound per refill or less. Not bad.|||Ink is one of the most expensive liquids in the world. more expensive then oil, blood, vodka and almost everything else|||I%26#039;ve used eBay and I%26#039;ve always found cheap ones from there, I have a Lexmark printer.|||Lexmark printers are pretty reasonable to buy but are very expensive on the inks. But there again most other printers are the same. Epson is the only one I know where you can get reasonably price ink for The manufacturers say only use genuine inks that is wise if your printer is still under gaurantee because if you are found to be using other inks you can loose the gaurantee.|||So far, everybody is paying well over the top!!!! My Epson carts are 拢00.40 pence (FORTY PENCE) each.
